Thanks for the prayers. I'm feeling better, but still not 100%. It was an odd experience, as my glucose meter wasn't indicating low blood sugar.
And it wasn't just "feeling faint" but I was almost blacked out, and I was very concerned with my young son home alone with me.
I'm just having a hard time getting a handle on my blood sugar.

Jenn-
That could have been a low blood pressure related incident. Low blood pressure can be common during pregnancy, and felling light headed, dizzy, even fainting can occur. Drinking lots of fluid can help keep the pressure up, if that was the cause. Praying for you and the baby!

I thought of that. But it wasn't from a sitting position, I was standing. I also wondered if could be related to the increase of heart irrhythmias. We'll see. The doctor is trying to get me into the endocrinologist and maybe a cardiologist if things persist.

Jenn, if you are having heart arrhythmias, it could also happen when you do things like stretch upwards into a high cabinet...not just sitting to standing. Arms overhead means your heart instantly has to start working harder and that can be enough to start a black out. Also, standing and then quickly bending over into a low cabinet can do it. I avoid blacking out by noticing the signs very early and lying down on my left side immediately...even if that means on the kitchen floor.
