OK, last year I spent a loooooong time creating a file of photos of landmarks, etc. for each US state. I have about 2-3 photos for each state. I was trying to get as many National/State parks, points of highest elevation, or famous landmarks as I could. I also wanted to include places we had visited on family vacations so they would be familiar to my children.

Of course, this large file was created for our own use. It is a 30-page Word document. If there is interest, I could attempt to split it into smaller, more manageable files and post them on my blog.

Not that I'm hijacking Vicki's project, but it would make a lot less work.    Naturally, you would want to add more photos for your own state (if you live in the US) as well as photos for your own town or city.

If you want to add photos, use these details to log in. Create a sub-directory with the name of your state or country and add your photos there - that should keep the site organised and make it easy to find things.

I have set the site up as private. If you just want to look at or download photos but not add any you can log in here using the password "montessori".

I have added a few England photos to test it out, but will be adding more over the next few days.
