Dera Nina. I will continue to keep you and this precious baby in my prayers. I had lots of cramping early on with this baby. I don't remeber feeling that before. I pray that it's just stretching.

Hi Nina,
I think you have a lovely, peaceful attitude. I will pray that all goes well for you. Cramping is a unwelcomed sign but it may just be all getting into shape.
Yes progesterone shots do hurt afterwards, I am still having to take them at 21 weeks and will have to continue until 30 weeks to make my doctor confident.
So here's to the Mummy pin cushions.

Thank you for the reassurance and prayers, friends. I did end up with an intestinal/stomach bug on Sat. night/Sunday. I think things are better! I HOPE!
Chemai----I am so glad to hear from you! I don't know of anyone else currently acting as pincushions....it's good to have you as company. Do you remember your levels early on? I just got my results for 7 weeks....39.5. I hope that means the baby is thriving and my placenta is healthy. I guess 8 wks. is the crucial time for the corpus luteum "handing things over". We'll just have to wait and see a few more weeks.
Ruth---thank you for reminding me that with all our bodies have gone through, it is no surprise that things feel *uncomfortable* and that each preg. is different, and anything is possible with God! Surrender! Surrender! That is what I am working on!

Tina, that is exactly what I am trying to do. Trust in His Perfect Goodness and Wisdom. Isn't the first trimester nerve-wracking, though?  I will be SO happy---although a false security, I know---when I hear that first heartbeat and feel the small hard "bump" under my (presently extended) bloated tummy!
