Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I ordered two of those clearance maps. They're fine, especially for the price; but they're heavy.

Marianne, I ordered Alison's map stand, too, and panicked when I saw there were no instructions! But it wasn't bad. Mine had no poop on it (how in the world. . .).

Just received an order from Kid Advance today. They have the cheapest shipping, and boy were they fast (I placed the order Friday). There were a few minor problems--a scratch here, an obviously repaired nick there; a box that looked like it was lacquered and wrapped in bubble wrap shortly thereafter. (When you look closely.) Haven't decided yet if I'm going to complain.

I have the clearance maps from Alison's, and I also feel like they were a good deal for the price.

I got my back ordered knobbed cylinders from Adena today; they are beautiful and in perfect shape. Now that is one material I don't know how I would ever be able to make at home...
