Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do Karen Tyler's albums have pictures? I'm going to be taking her elementary class this fall and that would be a big help to me.

Is the doing an elementary class? I emailed Karen a couple of weeks ago, but did not hear back. I could not find any info about elementary on her site - did I overlook it somewhere?

I would be very interested in this class.

Yes, there is plenty of info about 3-6, but once they hit 6, it gets scarce, doesn't it.

It really does Jo! She did ask us as part of the class questionairre if we were interested in more elementary presentations. So I think she might be considering jumping into the 6-9 group. That would be helpful!

Here are the MTC presentations for the 6-9 group that I'm using for my grammar presentations. These MWEI presentations are really meant for the 3-6 age group that is reading fairly well, but they did help me get a little more idea of how to use the farm, the color coding key for the grammar symbols, and a good starting point. Don't know if it will help anyone, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

Angela, we're all going to be waiting to hear what you think of the 6-9,9-12 presentations from the R&D manuals.

I do like having the box of grammar symbols for sentence construction. It is helpful in analyzing and understanding sentence structure. After covering parts of speech with the 3-6 presentations, I plan on having the kids construct their own parts of speech booklets. Then, using the grammar symbols, having them construct sentences or view sentences and identify the parts of speech with the symbols.   This is the set I got from KidAdvance. I really love the sculpey idea, and I may do that to make some of the advanced grammar symbols later in the year! Thanks for the idea Donna Marie.
