Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know several of us have signed up for Karen's class. Sunday is July 1st. I'm getting excited about the course- just hope I don't forget and can easily get into the habit of "class" three times a week.

I truly need this guidance, as I still feel very overwhelmed about pulling it all together.

I am Melinda, and I'm very excited to get started!

I'm glad you started this thread because I know I recognized a number of our names and wondered how many of us were signed up.

I'm signed up. I really hope I can get "into it". This is something I've always wanted to learn more about.

I'm with ya'll too!!!

I wasn't sure where to start, but thought this would be a good place to jump in and the fact that I can do it in my own haphazard way...in my home...not in a classroom , even better!!!

"See" you there!

I'm in as well. I'm looking forward to understanding the whole Montessori thing better. I'm also glad I can do the haphazard learning as well!

Me too...ds has really been blossoming in our parish Atruim... I think bringing more of the montessori aproach will help him a lot as he moves into "school age"

Wow- we have a pretty good group. That should lead to some lively discussion on this board!

Well, I'm a late comer, but I just got into the class this morning and am so so excited to get started. Karen assured me that we can catch up even if we miss or are away for a bit so that was great news for me since we still have my fil funeral in July and there will be several days when I am without computer.

YAY Glad you got in Jan!

I've been perusing our downloads that Karen sent out today - I'm sooooo happy I signed up - these albums are going to be fantastic I think, and so comprehensive!

How are you guys doing this? Are you reading online, downloading to your computer, or printing? I'm going to be behind on the first day because I just now found the downloads after seeing Jennifer mention it and now it's already my bedtime (almost 11 PM here)!

Jordan - did you not get an email from Karen????? I think I got a total of 5 - 1 welcome, 3 downloads, and 1 with email contacts. I clicked on the links from the email, and it downloaded the album right onto my desktop.

If you didn't get the emails, you could just head to the yahoo site and download right from there. Maybe email Karen though!

I downloaded and printed everything, but I seem to be missing pages 19-23.
The outline was 1-18, and the first practical life download was 24- fifty something. Did I miss the other pages or are they just not there?

Me too. I have not had a chance to read the files yet today, hoping to do that after the kid's bedtime.
Looking forward to it.

Running out of black ink here...glad we had some stashed away!

Here's a crazy question...coming from the fact I can't seem to think more than 2 minutes ahead lately ...

What are you ladies keeping all of these goodies in? Like, one big huge spiral for everything, or a different spiral for each album? This may seem like a no-brainer, but I think I feel a little like I jumped on board as the ship was pulling out and forgot to ask where it was going, you know what I mean?? But I'm happy to be going!

Like the general info of course applies to everything, where are you putting that in relation to all the different albums? I know you organizer-types have some great plans going!
