Poor little guy!
I will pray for speedy healing and also tell my Mary Beth (8yod who just got a cast OFF her arm!)--I think she will want to pray for him, too.

I am feeling better this evening. I've just came back from the doctor's (for myself) and I was reading a Readers Digest while in the waiting room. I read a story of a boy in the US who fell and hit his head in his home. It had ruptured a artery and he had a life threatening brain clot. It was a most incredible story, but one that had a good ending. BUT it helps me to keep everything in prespective!! I thank God that it is nothing worse than it is.
Thank you everyone for prayers and Masses offered, I am so touched and Michael is doing well tonight, hopefully we will be able to downgrade to panadol tomorrow.

Just a final update, thanking everyone for prayers. I took Michael to emergency again yesterday as I felt he was in too much pain still and his arm was more swollen. I had talked to my sister-in-law the night before and she was surprised that they had not put a backslab on his arm, just cuff-n-collar. She seemed to think that any little movement would cause further pain.
So I rang yesterday to see if they would re-assess him. They happily put a backslab on him yesterday afternoon and the pain medication has stopped since then. The extra swelling they thought was usual for the type of fracture.
He is a much happier boy, I'm a much happier and relieved mum!!
