Thank you, dear friends, for all your prayers.
He does have to take a logistics (of sorts) test this Wed. afternoon for the new job then they will offer him a final package and we'll make our decision off that.
Please continue the prayers. There are so many pros and cons to weigh.

Oh Cay -- discernment prayers can be kind of scary -- God tends to give you exactly what you can handle, though. Believe me, I've been thru this alot of the past 10 years (Austria, South Carolina, Colorado -- we've been all over).

Dh began his new job this morning for the company he already works for. It's a "cushiony" job but he's in training for the next 18 months in the analysis department.
We're still waiting on the offer from the other job. They will have to offer a better deal than what he has now for him to leave this job.
It's just rough both positions coming open at the same time but, since the strike last fall, working conditions are very strained and he'd like to find a better working environment.
I just want him to be happy. 
God's will be done...

Cay -- praying for your dh to St. Joseph ... it must be so hard on our dh's being repsonsible for us all ... I'm lifting up all dh's in prayer today!

Cay,
You and your dh are in my prayers. My dh just changed jobs and started his new job 2 weeks ago. It was tough discerning whether to stay or move. But he really felt called to change (since he had been so unhappy) and he is so at peace now. My dh must have made tons of pro/cons list. And I was a sounding board for weeks.

Thank you for prayers thus far and please keep them coming. He passed the test and is scheduled for a meet & greet interview this Wed. afternoon.
It hasn't gotten any easier to discern because he loves his new job (at his current job), the atmosphere is so much better (none of that negativism that was going on elsewhere), and the work conditions are better. And he has all the overtime anyone could ask for.
It's a touch decision. Please pray.
