Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Great News!!! She's reading. ALL. THE. TIME. Forty six hours this week (yes, she does eat and sleep...).

Hannah, my dd10, saw the first Harry Potter movie with us on our vacation this summer. When we got home she said she wanted to read it. I said O.K. . I rushed out and bought her the book after finding our library was out (it's not every day, or any day, that she wants a book).

She is almost on Book 3 this week!!

Just wanted to let you know.

Oh Kristie
FANTASTIC NEWS!!! Isn't it one of the most wonderful moments/stages

My own late reader, ds8 has just taken off in the last couple of days, he is just 'eating up' books he can read a Dr Suess book in 10 minutes (before it would take days)

What a lovely moment in the bookstore buying your Hannah a book

Nothing quite like when the finally "get it" -- no matter the age. It's like magic ... and WE get to be there because we learn at home ... that's the REALLY cool part and a great gift from GOD!
