Thank you Jennifer, Angie and Angela,

The appt last week did not show anything terrible....which is good news....but, I feel like we paid A LOT of money....to have him tell me something I do not believe (not that her legs are fine........but they are NOT......it hurts to walk, sit, etc.....he just kept saying she has carpel tunnel syndrome......)..........but could not explain her legs......or neck.........at least her nerves are not degenerating .....phew!
tomorrow am.......9am PST........we see the neurologist......pray I can get there on time .....I live over an hour from the office
I am thinking this is our last appt........and then we head to our chiropractor friend.........we'll
continued prayers appreciated,
God bless,

Chari,
Has she been tested for Lyme disease? I don't even know if that's a consideration where you live, but her symptoms sound much like my aunt's, whose Lyme went undetected for a long time? It also sounds like fibromyalgia...

Prayer to St Anne on Behalf of a Sick Person O Good St. Anne, so justly called the mother of the infirm, the cure of those who suffer from disease, look kindly upon the sick person for whom I pray; alleviate his (her) sufferings, cause him (her) to sanctify them by patience and by complete submission to divine will; finally deign to obtain health for him (her) and with it the firm resolution to honor Jesus, Mary, and thyself by the faithful performance of his (her) duties. But merciful St. Anne, I ask thee, above all, salvation of the soul, rather than bodily health, for I am convinced that this fleeting life is given us solely to assure us a better one. Now, we cannot obtain that better life without the help of God's graces. I earnestly beg them of thee for him (her) and for myself, through the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of His Immaculate Mother and through they efficacious and powerful mediation, O glorious St. Anne. Amen.
Jenn, that is a beautiful prayer -- I have been praying it for Anne. It seems to fit her so well -- when we saw her at camping, she was in discomfort, yet she never "used" her pain and was consistently kind and sweet -- talked to my toddler Paddy for about an hour and kept him entertained while I was making dinner one evening.
I am praying for her healing, Chari -- I had high hopes for St Anne's day . Please keep updating.

Chari, Praying that you're receiving answers today...
Has Anne seen a rheumotologist? I had pain in my legs, arms, feet, hands about 8 years ago, and went through several doctors and many tests before a great rheumotologist discovered what was wrong. If the neurologist and chiropractor don't have answers, you might try a rheumotologist.

Hello, Everybody! I am sorry I have not been back here sooner.....I kept forgetting everytime I was online........which has not been much.......since my sister is visiting.......and we are scrapbooking all day everyday, for three days :)
so, on to what you want to hear:
The neurologist does not think there is anything neurologically wrong with her..........and he could not find the cause of her problems.
He says her muscles and her nervous systems are totally normal and intact.
He kind of thinks it might be rhuematological in origin.....but we ran more lab tests, and they came back totally normal.....so our family doc thinks chasing a rhuematologist around and doing very expensive tests is not necessarey right now. I kind of agree, for now.
we are still waiting for one more test result: Lyme's titer.........I will be surprised if it is positive......but, if it IS, at least we would have an answer.
I think we will take her to the chiropractor at the end of the month.........we have decided to go see my grandmother on the coast.........and my dh wants Anne to go, too. The fun part is..........when we take her down to SF.......we will be there just in time for a CCM meeting.........a CATERED meeting :).....and Robynn from Lancaster will be there, too!
She will be in SF for about a month.......and then we will pick her up and take a month long trip around the lower half of CA....including a visit to Willa, Robynn and, yes, Erica....you, too! among others.....
Please pray the chiropractor is ready to include her in his schedule......and that she will be able to tolerate the homesickness....and that she will keep on top of her schoolwork, while away.......AND that she feels better. She is feeling really bad tonight .........and cancelled an overnight out under the stars in the roofless new fort.........and now all of the kids are disappointed
gotta go scrap........
oh, .............thanks agiain for your prayers..........Anne told me she can just FEEL all of the prayers. Also........when we pray........any prayer, esp the Rosary or Mass.......we offer it up "for all of those that are praying for us" so, you see.......you get PAY BACK for praying for us!
Sarah and I prayed that prayer when she was in the hospital for her heart surgery..........we got a lot......no, A LOT, of graces from that prayer!!
God bless your night,

I just read my son the story of St. Genevieve yesterday. She heard the prayers of the mother's in Paris and that very day the epidemic there was stopped and people who were sick were healed. It said she listens well to a mother's prayer.
St. Genevieve please intercede for Anne today and always.

Oh, I have always loved Saint Genevieve!
Thanks for the prayer tip, Mary Beth. We will go re-read her story today............I will have to see if it is in Butler's.....so we can get an adult's take on the story......and supplement it with the children's story, of course!
Thank you also, Jennifer, and Alice, for your continued and faithful prayers. And everyone else, too. We so appreciate the support. Though she is not feeling well...........she does have the comfort of her only cousin, her age, here for a four day visit. They have not had much time in the past two years to connect....so, at age 17 and almost 17.....they really needed this, before their adult lives move forward.
Continued prayers for all of you,

Chari, Anne continues in my prayers too, even though I haven't been online much to respond! Did the chiropractor help? Praying for a good time in SF too!

Prayer to St Anne on Behalf of a Sick Person
O Good St. Anne. Amen.
Okay....I have dropped Anne off in SF.......she is staying with the chiropractor's family.......and with our good friends, Gloria & John. Both are Catholic hsing families.......can't much better than that! The chiro's wife is such a cool lady........and, she is the best friend of Anne's confirmation sponsor (a lady from the ccm list).
I took her to her first appt last Monday.......and left her and her box of school books. She says she has had a good week schooling, playing with the boys of the house.......and that she "feels better" though she cannot pinpoint HOW she feels better. She recieves her third treatment today.....and then tonight she will arrive home for the weekend..........as our friends from SF come up here once a month for a visit.
The kids and I are praying the above prayer everyday while she is away from us......so, any of you who would like to join us.....please do.
And, as mentioned above......we are praying for all of you, too. That reminds me......while I was away....I was unable, due to some computer problem, to be able to post on the list.......but I could read....so, I have been praying for all of the pray requests.....I just do not have tme to repsond to each one....
I am especially thinking of YOU, Erica :)
BTW.....the Lyme's titer came back very negative.........and the doctor says there is a slim chance it could be positive later........and if her symptoms to not abate within 6 mos.....he may retest....but very unlikely.
a couple of extra add-on prayers for me....as long as I am here.....
I just found out I need a root canal and a lot of other dental work..........we have NO insurance.....and it is going to be very expensive......my poor husband .....I inherited teeth that do not have much natural protection..........they are clean....just the old fillings falling out ....at least my roots are healthy!
Also...........I need prayerful support in getting our school year planned, started and to be on task. And for my late writers and readers to CLICK this year!!!!
For the saftey of my dh and son as they put a roof on a three-story fort!! ack!! WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!
And, a couple of other personal requests.
I THINK this may be it....
Thanks for your continued prayers!

update on Anne:
I talked to her this weekend.......she has now had 6 treatments with the chiropractor.......and she says she "feels better"........and also that while her hands are hurting with the same intensity, they are hurting with less frequency. They were hurting ALL of the time......
so, keep up the prayers please :)
She has 6 more treatments before we meet up with her and hit the road for another month-long trip. We get to spend a week with Willa! And, Robynn (who never posts ) and see Erica.....and others, too!
Oh, and please remember me to Saint Appolonia on Wednesday, when I have my root canal.....
