If there is such a thing as an infancy in a pregnancy, I'm there. Since my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage and since I just recently turned 40, I'm requesting fervent prayers for this one.
The second request has to do with (so far and hopefully only) my two little ones, who've been valiantly battling a stomach virus. This is a wicked one that starts with fever and headache and causes vomiting and diarrhea for two days. After an off-balance third day, my 4 yo seems right as rain. But my 20-month old has it now. She's a wreck! We have one who was exposed to the virus and is now at a week-long girl scout camp. And then we're going across the country to my parents' 50th anniversary next week. If this virus *does* course through our family, can you please pray that it finishes its course before we leave? But better yet, please pray that it stops with our baby.

Update: My almost-13-yos is currently in a downward spiral.  Looks like this virus is going to hit us all before it's through with us.
I'm lethargic, too. But it could be because of early pregnancy or because of my lack of coffee today.  I don't have the headache that those of my children who could articulate their thoughts complained of.

Update: It appears that my oldest just had a headache yesterday and that a little Tylenol and sleep helped him. My littlest seems to have recovered as quickly as her slightly older brother (the one who started the whole thing). So far, we've all either recovered or never experienced the virus. Here's hoping that our health continues!

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. At least she's not feverish and limp anymore. Tomorrow we go pick up my Girl Scout from Horse Camp. I ought to have asked separately for a prayer request that I might be able to handle that better than I am (can't WAIT to see her!). Please continue to pray that by the time we pick up Anna, all the rest of the kids will be healthy enough for the two hour drive each way!
