Thought I'd give all of you the news about Beth (mathmama)
She had a beautiful baby girl, Anna Mary at 10:57pm on June 15!!!
Anna Mary and mom are doing well!
Labor sure had it's ups and downs, but Beth was able to deliver vaginally with no epidural.
I was priviliged to be her labor support and I'm so excited for my new godchild!
Thanks for all your prayers and support. I know all of them helped Beth trememdously.

Thank you for all the prayers. They were a true blessing.
Mary Ann was right in saying that labor had its ups and downs, but in the end everything worked out beautifully. One true blessing was that we had to wait for a while once I decided on the epidural. During this time I very quickly dialated 5cms and Anna Mary was born after only about 10-15 minutes (maybe even less?) of pushing. If I had gotten the epi labor would have been much longer.
Her full name is Anna Mary Frances. Big sister Therese is very proud of her new sister as is seen in the pictures.
Here are some pictures from the hospital. I only regret that we didn't get one of Mary Ann holding Anna Mary.

I know I'm coming in on this conversation *really* late (I've forwarded many prayer requests of my own), but I wanted to tell you that practically *all* of my kids were induced. I had my first one six days early and even though I was having what I thought at the time were killer contractions, I wasn't dilating. Now I know better about which contractions are killer and which are just consistent (these contractions were happening at least every two minutes for HOURS but they weren't the kind that make my toes curl). Anyway, I just wanted to comfort you in knowing that sometimes, induction is just the right way to go.
The pictures are darling. I especially like the one where Anna is giving us the Peace sign.
