I don't know if you can go see a midwife or not, but we have a group of them here in our area that deliver at the hospital with a doctor backing them up in the event of an emergency. (Some also deliver at a birthing center.)

The only reason I suggest a midwife if you have no pro-life docs is that midwives are usually so "rah, rah, women are strong and powerful" that they will respect your choices...whatever those may be. Unfortunately, it can mean respecting more "liberal choices" but usually includes our "conservative choices"... does that make sense?

(Specifically... they might prescribe contraception, but most can't perform abortions since it is considered a surgical procedure.)

All of my midwives have supported me in my decisions even if they personally didn't agree with them just because they were very "pro-woman".

If there is absolutely no other pro-life option, this is what I would consider looking into just to be sure that something I disapproved of was not forced on me by some doc who thinks he knows better.
