Thanks Leonie and it is my thoughts exactly here!  We have had a lovely statue of St Joseph on our family altar for almost nine months and I have not prayed consistantly, everyday for this important intention. So I have the next 9 months or more to keep calling and knocking.
You know the funny thing was, when you posted Leonie asking how things were, I had just received the phone call from Phil but I then had to go to the Anointing Mass, so I was walking out the door immediately.
When I was at Mass the readings for this special Mass were about, 'ask and you shall receive' 'knock and the door will be opened' and how even the uncharitable feel the need to open the persistant knockings at their door in the middle of the night, what more would the Heavenly Father do?...A feeling of peace came over me upon hearing that, knowing that I need to persistantly knock for Phil's future at Telstra and our finanical needs.

Praying for you Anne! We have been going through this for quite a while at the big yellow film factory. Three more years till he can get full retirement....and the cuts keep getting bigger and deeper all the time. I pray that your dh will find new employment soon, and congrats on the package!
