Dear friends, Could I ask for some prayers for my husband and his job? He works for a telecommunications company and it unfortuanately it has changed greatly in the last 10years and we feel a bit like mice jumping from a sinking ship......it's when to jump... 
They had told the men that there would be no more 'packages'(pay-outs) for men being made redundant after a year's time or so and that they would not be offering any up until then.
Now we have just been told there will definately be a release of packages this coming Monday and they will announce how many they will have, then very soon after that, they will notify which men are to receive them.
We are praying fervently to St Joseph that they will offer my husband one...it would be like a miracle to receive one, I think, because everyone wants them now.
Actually I should really say that if you could pray for God's will - if a package is what He knows is best for us, that it will be granted.
Thank you!
UPDATE: We are in total shock! My husband was offered a package out of the blue and he has accepted, his final day at work is the 10th of August. Thank you so sincerely for your prayers on our behalf - it is a true miracle, if you knew all the circumstances of this.
Just praying now that he finds a good job and that he is not out of work long.

Yes finally some news, Leonie and everyone who has been so good to pray for us, we have found out this morning that the packages on offer are for Level 4 men. Phil is a Level 5 - so not meant to be at this stage.
But the hopeful thing is that there is more talk of packages in a year's time or less. Not God's will at this stage, so thank you for your powerful prayers. I have peace over all of this and great trust that St Joseph will always look after us.
