Angela, I've been praying since I saw this last night. I spotted heavily at 28 weeks in my 7th pregnancy, all was well, I just totally overdid it the day before. I hope things are better today. Get plenty of rest and hydration.

Well, dh came home early last night and I sat in the recliner and drank water. We had promised the kids we would go to a local homeschool convention today -- they love all the books and the nifty hands-on stuff displayed there -- and they had been looking forward to it for a long time. So... this morning things looked good, no spotting, and as they've been dealing with a fair amount of disappointment lately, I didn't want to disappoint them *again*, we decided to go. I tried not to walk a lot, didn't carry anything, we left early, and thank goodness, still no more spotting... although my contractions have picked up a bit.

Tonight is more recliner/water-drinking time, but I think everything is more or less all right -- baby's moving fine anyway. I am a little nervous because dh is going out of town Mon-Thurs this week, but I guess I'll just take it really easy tomorrow and *attempt* to pace myself next week while he's gone.

I am praying for you. I have spotted several times this pregancy (and it was very disturbing as it had never happened with any other pregnancy) - earlier on I did go in but the OB never figured out why. I also had significant contractions from 24 weeks - but they were non-productive so I did not really have to do anything differently - just the usual drill of lie on my left side and drink water if they got too bad. I am now on modified bedrest for a couple of weeks (just to get to 35 weeks) - because I had more spotting and contractions (both of which came after some heavy duty nesting organization!!!) and I think I have lost my plug. I really do see the difference when I am vertical or horizontal - I am on my feet for part of the day and keeping the house running - but no shopping, soccer games , hikes, pool etc. There is a homeschool conference locally next week that I had planned to - I am hoping that dh will drive me so that I can at least visit the vendors for 1 hour.
