Hello again everyone!
Thank you so much for the prayers. We went in early Wed morning and I was given the prostoglandin (sp?) pessary, and then left to go into labour. It was slow getting started and the labour and delivery ward was busy so I was sort of left alone. I think because i wasn't screaming and hollering they though I wasn't really in labour.
Anyway, long story short, baby Oscar showed up at 3:45am Thursday morning, May 31st. He's about 7 and a half pounds and has a head of black hair. We came home late yesterday and my other children even let me hold him occasionally!
Again, many thanks for the prayers. In spite of some rather hairy moments with the Surinamese hospital, it all ended well.
