Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The "Tooth Rat" came by. The rat was more feasible in their minds, though. He could crawl all over through the labyrinth of rooms and shelves and such, carry the money in his teeth and exchange it for the tooth.

My mother did the tooth fairy thing, which is surprising since we didn't do other things... Perhaps Dan would prefer this approach. My cousins who lived on farms like your dh almost all their lives didn't have a tooth fairy. The "Tooth Rat" came by.

Well... we definitely have a lot of MICE in the barn(thankfully no rats)!! However, JP is like me and definitely proned to being scared!! So the rat...

And you know with Dan, in all reality, I think it comes down to... he doesn't like to be in any way dishonest with the kids. (I don't either, but I'm a little more artful in my presentation! I think it's a girl thing.)

Although.... when he took the tooth fairy away altogether, I certainly didn't have an artful answer!!!
