Well, weird things happen - I go to the hospital, only to find out that there has been a mix up in the schedule and now I am booked for surgery for next Friday!!
Thank you all for prayers and thank you Anne for bumping the thread.
Bridget, I hope your surgery went well. I am having the uterine polyp removed and then exploratory surgery re possible ovarian cancer . Prayers for a good recovery for you, Bridget!

Thanks, guys. I figured - God has His plans and maybe I'm just meant for surgery next week, not this.  But my poor dh has to re-organize his work schedule all over again....

Leonie -- My son will be in surgery that day too! You can bet that you'll be in our prayers as we wait.

Hi friends - its Sat June 9 here, lunch time and I am just back from hospital. I had the surgery at 5.00 pm on Friday June 8 and while the dr has sent samples off to pathology, he doesn't think it looks like cancer - it all looks benign! Deo gratias! And thanks for prayers.
