She is just 32 weeks pregnant and her water broke this morning. She has had all the betamethasone shots - and they are not sure how long she has before delivery. Please pray for her and the baby - it is her first child.

I'll be praying, Marilyn. 7 of my 9 were premature (30-34 weeks) and with 6 of those, I had preterm rupture of my membranes - I know exactly what she's going through.

Thank you all for your prayers. I have no update - as of midnight last night they were making no definitive decisions. I told them that I had lots of wonderful people praying. I have given them Ruth's Our Lady of Leche novena and prayers to St. Gerard.
Please also say a little prayer for my own little guy - I have a preterm labor history and so this has given me a little fear - although praise be to God that the early symptoms have really calmed down, and I have been so peaceful.
