I had another u/s this morning, at 33wks and 4 days. Apparently the drs are concerned over calcification issues, as well as a degenerating placenta, so they are going to induce me sometime next week, if I don't go into labor on my own (I've been ctxing fairly regularly since last night, and I have an NST in about 45 min, so I'll see what happens then).
I will not be delivering at the hospital I have had the last three at, but will instead be at a civilian hospital closer to home (the Army hospital's NICU is full--and will be for the foreseeable future).
I have had the first of my four steroid shots, and will have the remainder over the next 36 hrs. Fortunately, I know I am strep B negative, both boys are vertex at the moment, and life is otherwise good. My parents were coming into town this weekend anyway, to help get some things done around here before the babies came/DH deploys, so the timing is rather good, in that respect. They won't be able to stay, though, but my mother will come back once DH has to go back to work.
Anyway, I would seriously appreciate any and all prayers I can get on behalf of my boys and myself, for a safe uneventful delivery, for healthy birth weights, and limited NICU time. Please add us to parish prayer lists/rosary circles, as well, if you can.
Thanks ladies. It's all more appreciated than you will ever know.
