Dear, sweet, Ruth. Reading your prayer request, I can feel your suffering and I pray that our collective prayers can help bring peace to your family. Since my memory doesn't always serve me well, I re-read your prayer requests from the last few months. When read together, I am seeing a strong woman who is gracious and charitable under very, very difficult circumstances. Dealing with the troubles connected to mental health concerns plus substance abuse requires a lot of outside care. I know that your have help in your priest. I'm praying that you find, make, and receive even more excellent care...now, friend.

I love you. We all love you. Please feel that love and the love of God for you. But for now: ONE DAY at a time....not tomorrow. And remember----God is holding you in His Hand and KNOWS how hard things are right now! He knows! He is not care-less. Don't forget that.
