She just told me that she is almost 6 weeks pregnant with her first child! She had fertility issues and was told that there was only a very small percentage of her conceiving at all. Now she is worried that it could be ectopic (not for any particular reason - she is just at higher risk for it). She has already had 3 blood tests so she could see what her hcg levels were doing (look good).

Anyway, would you please pray for her peace of mind and, of course, her wee one?

Please keep praying - my friend spotted today and she has an ultrasound tomorrow morning. I told her there can be many reasons for this and to hold out hope, but she is understandably very anxious.

My sister found out this morning that she had an ectopic pregnancy. They whisked her to surgery and removed the fallopian tube (surprisingly this was the tube she believed to be completely blocked while the other is almost completely blocked). I don't know what the prognosis is, but I do know that her heart is breaking. The baby was due on Christmas.

Note: I originally asked for prayers for "my friend" because I had promised not to tell anyone she was pregnant - she was going to surprise my mom and dad on Mother's Day
