Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I use Motherease Sandy's diapers and Motherease Air-Flow covers. I love them! I have never had a leak, even when they are completely saturated. I tried diaper-service prefolds and Bummis wraps in the past, but had terrible problems with leaks.

I agree with LisaD. Motherease Sandy's combined with Motherease Air-Flow covers are my favorite. I have not found anything more practicable. I love the simple look of that little white diaper. I will tell you that the unbleached are softer and that's what I have in the newborn size.

I also much prefer snaps to anything with velcro, especially on a cover. In my experience, when the diaper folds down, sometimes the edging of the velcro will scratch my baby's skin.

I also like Fuzzibunz, though I haven't found them to be as durable as cotton diapers. I love the Fuzzibunz for outings and nights when I can stuff an extra insert inside. The colors are fun too.

The combination that ultimately worked best for me was Sandy's with Air Flow covers on a newborn and as baby got older and required fewer diaper changes, I would begin using more Fuzzibunz.

Another thing I found helpful was to use a reusable liner, also purchased from Motherease, that would keep the skin dry and made cleaning dirty diapers easier. I would wrap one of these around a thin doubler for added absorbancy but barely more bulk.

The best cloth diapering advice I was given was to try a few different things rather than buying all of one thing based on good reviews. Personal preferences, lifestyle differences, and babies' shape all make a big difference.
