Your pain is shared by so many. My family has also had to deal with similar experiences with my sister although it happened she was 13 and not talked about until she was in her mid 30's. Praying with St. Maria Goretti's intercession for healing. Thanks be to God that this has come into the light as painful as it is so it will no longer be buried. I pray for your whole family!

UPDATE May 2, 2007:
I want to thank all of you for your prayers and your kind words. I am so grateful and amazed to see all of you praying for us! I'm sure that the prayers are helping. Things are looking up right now. My sister, while still not completely willing to open up, has at least agreed to go to the counselor, realizing that she is mostly hurting herself by not going. My parents have been able to talk to her a bit and are hopeful that maybe together with the counselor her anger can be worked through. It may be a long road, but things don't look so black as they did and that is thanks to all of you and the grace of God.
Please continue to pray for my sister if she ever crosses your mind in the months ahead. Know that I am eternally grateful and am praying for all of your intentions as well.

Of course your dear sister will cross our minds! I plan to pray for her and for all the 4Real intentions for, well, forever. I am glad to hear that you see improvement, and I'll pray that your beloved sister will find the right counselor to help her through this tragic, difficult time.
I know God will listen to you and your family; didn't Jesus Himself say that we only need to ask in His name to receive what we seek? Didn't Jesus heal the blind man and help those suffering from all kinds of illness?
Thank you for this hopeful update...I will be praying for all of you...
