Ladies, things are getting bad..again. She is being moved to another hospital, KU Burn Center actually. The meningitis has basically eaten away at her skin and her circulation in her feet and hands are still very bad. They thought they were coming around, but now are very worried again. We need prayers for her circulation...badly. She has woken up, but doesn't really recognize many people. She's still on dialysis and it's going to be a really long recovery and we just pray that she's able to keep her hands and feet! Please, please, if you could offer up a prayer for her I would be so thankful.

Hi, I just want to update you all who prayed so hard for my friend. Unfortunately she had both legs amputated between her knee and ankle (mid-calf area).She just had no circulation there for so long that the docs just couldn't save them. She is however doing better in all other aspects. All organs are functioning great now and her attitude is amazing. She is doing extra physical therapy trying to get out of the hospital. She'll be able to get prosthetics within about 4-5 months if all goes well. She really just wants to get back home to her 4 boys. Luckily, a friend has been homeschooling her boys, so they aren't behind and she doesn't have to worry about that.
Anyway, thank you all so much for your prayers. They were definitely heard!!! They told the family that her odds of survival were basically ZERO...and she's made it!!!!!

Wow, what a long, hard road! So glad to hear that she will be alright and her children will get her back with them!

Wow. What a testimony of courage. I am so glad she'll be home soon...and that her boys are so well looked after.
I'm sure your friend still has many hard weeks ahead of her, but her focus is right where it should be...I am glad you shared this with us.
