Praise God! She continues in our prayers. It is amazing (well, miraculous!) what the prayers of many said in union can do.

Angela I am SO HAPPY to hear this update! The power of prayer certainly - we had a similar situation 2 years ago with an uncle in ICU and not expected to live and everyone was praying for a miracle to Pope JPII - he is still a walking miracle to this very day!

This post hit our family and we've been praying but I haven't had a moment to let you know until now. Our niece was hit with a meningistis diagnosis in October and almost died, a young mother to two under three years old. She recovered miraculously, the power of prayer. Please be assured there are some of us in the background, and we will continue to pray for great recoveries on this forum such as this intention.

Another update...keep praying ladies...please. Yesterday she was supposed to try to come off of the ventilator, but they didn't even try it. A very close friend went in and saw her and said she looks horrible, still heavily sedated and has a purple rash all over her body. The docs say that her heart and lungs are functioning good, but her kidneys and liver still aren't doing much. She's on dialysis (sp?). They say that since she made is through 24 hours her chance of survival is a lot better, but we need those organs to start working!!! I just know that she will survive...she just has to!! She's beat cancer and was told she'd never have kids...she has FOUR...so, I just know she's going to beat this. BUT, we need prayers, it's just miraculous at how prayer has saved her thus far!!! Truly amazing ladies....thank you all...but, please keep praying...she needs it!!!
I'll update later when I know more!!

Just thought I'd share w/everyone praying...SHE'S WAKING UP!!!!! They have been slowly taking her off of her med's that sedate her and her oldest son (10 yrs. old) went in to see her and she heard his voice and opened her eyes...is that awesome or what!!! She's w/the docs right now, but that's at least some good news...keep up the prayers ladies..you all are so amazing!!! Thank you.

Well, things are progressing...slowly, but surely! The docs were worried about her circulation and were talking about maybe having to amputate her feet!!! Because of some meds she wasn't getting good circulation in her hands and feet. BUT...things are looking better and they think it will be fine. All organs are working, some better than others and she had an MRI yesterday and there hasn't been any brain damage. They are still keeping her sedated because she was struggling so much when she woke up. They just want her body to rest and work to get better! To think back at how horrible things were just a week ago and the docs were saying she probably wasn't going to make it!!! She's such an amazing person and the power of prayer is truly incredible. She has people all around the world praying for her...it's amazing. Thank you all so much and I'll keep you posted!
