Please pray for these all of kids... A boy we know from tae kwon do is at this school. Gunman kills 21 at Virginia Tech

Why would they lift the lockdown before catching the gunman?!

We are very close here....if you know anybody who has a child at Tech who needs a place to go, PM me and we'll go get them....our home is open and our church will do whatever is needed as well.
Praying and offering our day for all involved.

My bil's brother is there....still waiting to hear if he's okay from the second shooting.
Praying...it's just awful, especially for victims who are so far from their loved ones.

Friends of ours have a dd there, and my son knows of many students from his high school who attend there. Ds is actually waiting on his financial aid package from them, he's already been accepted.
We are keeping watch and praying hard here........

My BIL wisely stayed home at his apartment from classes today, after he heard about the first incident. He is an engineering major, and I'm so glad he listened to his angel!

Please add prayers of thanksgiving for the generosity of the community. The dining halls have been closed down and the local restaurants have been very generous. We are heading out now to pick up 50 pizzas to bring to the Newman House.
