Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

MacBeth, your lack of an update is making me nervous. Is everything OK? How are you feeling?

God bless,

MacBeth, if it is half as bad as Alice described, it sounds horrible. I certainly will pray for you and Don.

Alice described it perfectly . Still, we are better today, and we both managed dinner last night. There are still residual issues, but for the most part, we are better, and functioning at nearly normal.

The worst side effect of all? We missed Peter Kreeft's Lewis lecture. I could cry.

Thanks all for prayers and advice!

Just saw this MacBeth. So sorry, especially that you had to miss something that looked enjoyable.

Praying it continues without any major issues. Ease yourself back. Dh always says it can take awhile to be able to handle dairy (try lactose-free milk).
