Trey's Dad updated his CaringBridge site early yesterday morning:
"Trey has just not been able to eat very much at all. Even when he has managed to eat, he has not been able to keep all of it down.
We will be going to the hospital today to have him admitted so he can get nutrition and so the Doctors can observe him more closely.
They will feed him directly to the stomach w/ an NG tube. This is a small plactic tube that goes in through his nose and down his throat. They run some type of nutrition mix through the tube to the stomach. He has had nose tubes for other purposes before. He does not like them. Even with the NG tube, he may spit up. But it is worth a try.
We do not know what is causing him to spit up and to have such a light appetite, and it is folly to guess at this point. Trey is really very fragile & extremely skinny right now. He needs nutrition. Please keep Trey in your prayers."

Trey's news is a little brighter. Thank you for continuing to pray; it means the world to Trey and his family!
From his Dad at CaringBridge:
"Trey has put on a little bit of weight with the NG tube and he is eating a little bit better on his own. He will eat most of a hot-dog or a few chicken nuggets. He is definitely better off than he was last weekend. He is still pretty weak and moody. He really hates the NG tube. It is taped to his cheek and generally uncomfortable.
He may be released to come home with the tube in place Thursday. Radiation intro class is next Monday & they will fit him for a protective shield and go through a simulation Tuesday.
I believe Radiation treatments will begin Monday 2/11."

I know it's been a while since I updated on little Trey but there is so much good news, now! He finished up his last radiation treatment in August and is on the mend. With his initial diagnosis of Stage IV cancer (neuroblastoma), things were very bleak, indeed. But a year and a half later, Trey is getting stronger and just had a clear scan--no cancer! Whoopee!
His dad updated their caringbridge site today.Thank you all for being prayer warriors for the Green family and please keep them in prayer that little Trey will continue to get stronger. God bless you!
