A Happy Memory.

I have shared this picture (below) with some close family and friends and now thought it would be a lovely way to pay tribute to one of our beautiful parish priests that we lost this week.
It was taken at my son's Thomas's tenth bithday last year. The children are my 6 and 7 of their h/sed cousins. We will miss our priest Fr Charles profoundly.




May perpetual light shine upon them and may their souls rest in peace. Amen

We will be having their funerals Wednesday next week.
Our Bishop spoke beautifully tonight (Holy Thursday) about both priests. The night before they died they had renewed their priestly vows at this years Chrism Mass with all their brother priests. A beautiful blessing. He said they were very holy and dedicated priests.

We are all pulling together and offering this huge suffering to our Lord during this time when he suffer the most.

As painful as this is, it is easy to see God's hand in it. The renewal of priestly vows was so perfectly timed. What a grace!
