Being a part of this community blesses me immensely. Thank you all so much. We have no Catholic relatives, and I've got nervous stomach over telling my own mother (she won't be angry, just perpetually worried about me). But here, its all good. 
I think I'm just going to let my little girls tell my mom!

Congratulations Books! For the last several babies, I have had my kids announce the news to my "critical" family members. There is nothing like the joy and excitement of little ones announcing the news of a new baby brother or sister! It didn't always prevent the nasty comments, but at least it delayed them and took off that initial stress I had of announcing it. And you never know, sometimes the joy and anticipation in the voices of little ones is contagious and a blessing. I will pray for you!
