Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thanks Leonie!

Say ladies, would anyone share your weight loss progress? My sister and a close friend both lost weight recently, and they inspired me to do the same. (I respond well to positive peer pressure.    )

Hello,

I'm a Weight Watchers Leader. The program REALLY works for most people. I'd like to say a word about the CORE program......

The CORE program focuses on fruits, vegetables and whole grains (most processed foods are elimiated fromyour diet). As homeschooling mothers we need all of the energy we can get. Eating natural foods is the way God intended us to eat. So, strive for 5-7 servings of fruits and/or vegetables each day.

Do you have a juicer at home? If so, strive for just one full glass of fresh vegetable/fruit juice a day (carrots/apples/cucumber/canteloupe, etc.). You can put most fruits and vegetable in the juicer with the skin.....just underneath the skin is where most of the best nurients are anyway. Juice from a juicer is not pasturized (heated), so all of the digestive enzymes and fiber are still in tact. It will curb your appetite, and energize your body at the same time.
