Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Willa,

We'll pray that everything turns out ok. I'm glad that things look good so far.

In Christ,
Deborah

Thinking of you and Aidan. Pray it's good news Thursday.

Aidan's strep culture was negative except for some overgrowth of staph which the doctor says usually doesn't need to be treated, unless he seems like he is getting sicker.   Aidan has been acting fine -- good appetite, cheerful and active.

So that's all good news. Thanks again for the prayers and if something changes, I'll update! I forgot if I mentioned it before, but both my dh and young Paddy came down with some virus which kept us awake a couple of nights -- that tends to be good news in spite of the inconvenience, because it "explains" the immunesuppressed child's symptoms!

Aidan's liver transplant team is requesting some extra labs (he's getting his normal ones on Tuesday) and raised the possibility that he might have to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. Please pray for counsel, wisdom etc for me, dh and healthcare professionals. Obviously we don't want him back in the hospital undergoing surgery if it can be avoided.

Sorry to hear this, Willa. Praying for you to have good counsel, wisdom, etc. Our Lady place her mantle around both of you.

Willa,

My family is making a pilgrimage to the national shrine of St. Maximillan Kolbe. We will be praying for Aiden and your whole family.

Love and prayers,

Willa,

Glad to hear that Aidan is doing well and glad that the others had a virus! Emily prayed especially for Aidan last night, so I was happy to pass on the news that he's feeling good.
