I am trying to get a blog going, and I would like to have the "Today in the Church" on my sidebar. I just can't figure out how to get it there. HELP!!!!

I wish I could help ya, but I have such a hard time with my sidebar too. One thing that I did get to work I going to my sidebar widgets, dropping a text box into the sidebar, then clicking on the little notebook looking icon, and it takes you to a screen where you can add text, the click 'save changes'.

You'd think, my husband used to do web design, I'd be better at this stuff...

To do this you're going to have to edit the template. It's under Presentaion and then theme editor. . .but I don't know if your version of WordPress lets you edit the template like that. I use the self installed version and it does but I'm not sure you can do it. Anyway if you have that option that's where you need to do it (under sidebar).

This probably isn't very helpful.
