Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I finished a project I started a while ago and have made a new friend from this board!! I have much to learn, but maybe by sharing, there are some of you who enjoy this hobby too!

Beautiful dresses, Emily. I love to smock too and used to smock outfits all the time for my first two children. Now I have a sweet baby girl who is about to turn 2 and I haven't finished anything smocked for her. She's wearing her sister's hand me downs, but I had great plans to smock many more for her. You're inspiring me to try to fit it back into my day. She needs many more smocked dresses! :-)

Mary De is one of my all-time favorite patterns. That one and the Bishop pattern are probably my two most-used patterns. I just love the way Mary De wraps in the back. Too cute!
