Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am not nearly done getting organized - but had to share some pictures of this corner of our learning room - Mike did not need more toys for his 1st birthday later this week - so we got him the cutest little table and chair - he LOVES them!

Marilyn--It is wonderful. So neat and lovely with beautiful items...where did you get your table and chair set? Do you think you could use the table with two chairs, one on each side?

Beautiful job, Marilyn. I love the table and chair, too. Do share where you got them!

Ok - this was my huge budget splash (Mike's entire school budget!!) - but we did get birthday money from grandparents - and it is his birthday gift from us too I debated it for weeks and weeks - and finally went for it.

It is toddler table from Lakeshore learning with the matching height chair - I bought the biggest height to get the most time out of it. I wish I was good at carpentry because i would make it myself. But they are beautifully made - and the table is easy clean - can be used for snacks, painting, playdough, work etc - Mike loves to sit in his chair for prayers, family movies etc

Colleen - it looks bigger in the picture than it is. You could have two kids working at either long end for drawing and playdough and reading - but for Montessori type tray work it is a little small for more than one.

The "first shelf" is a Micheal Olaf look alike - the twins bought it with their allowance from Target on sale for $10 and put it together for Mike for his birthday - it is quite sturdy.

Matthew's table and chairs are from Michaels - we bought a few years ago on sale - I like them except that they are craft tables so the top is soft and we need to use a book to write on. Also the folding chairs can tip over fairly easily for a toddler, but are great for Preschoolers and K.

Marilyn,

That is a neat table and chair set.

We were just working on setting up an area for our 14 month old too.
