Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have any experience with these type of blocks:
Kapla Blocks. Made in France. About $66 for 200 blocks
or
Keva Planks Made in the USA. About $48-60 for 200 blocks.

Do your dc like them? Were they worth the money? Is there something they like better?
What age play with them?
What do they make with them?
How many do you have? How many do you think you'd need to make them FUN?

I don't know about Keva, but I bought my son a box of Kapla blocks for his birthday, and he loves them. He immediately wanted more (I think we bought the smaller box of 50 at first).

They are really great for building, lightweight; they are all exactly the same size and very smooth (I think that's what you're paying extra for), but that means that they're ideal for building.

I would buy as many as you can afford - I think the larger sets are a better deal anyway, and kids will always want more of them.

All my girls love Kapla blocks.
I am amazed at what is possible with these thin little wooden bars.
I agree with Lori. You can never have too many, so buy big.

We have the Kapla blocks. I think we bought them about 3 years ago, I really had to search to find them, so maybe Keva was not around back then. My boys really enjoy the Kapla blocks. I bought a few idea books to go with them.

We have Kapla. I may buy more for Christmas. They are really a great building block. All ages enjoy it and can get really creative. Keva looks similar but I haven't seen them in person.
