Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My daughter recently heard about this series from a friend. I know nothing about them except that one review on Amazon says that the characters aren't always as respectful of their parents as they could be. Is there anyone who could offer personal experience with this series?

Thank you!

I did not read this myself but my 11 yr old dd really disliked this book as did her same aged friend we loaned it to. In fact we also had another by the same author (sun slower sun faster??) and noone liked that one either. They might be great reads but just did not click with us because we usually adore Bethlehem titles.

Margaret

My guess is because of their age, although the books are rec. for 10 up I'd wait.

Martha. I've hesitated to respond as I haven't had personal experience, but I know my closest friend's girls really enjoyed them, but no personal experience here. I keep meaning to buy them.
