Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was reading about Literature Pockets on amazon.com and they seem to be an easy way to learn how to begin lapbooks. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with them.

I have one literature pocket and two history pockets. They are well done, but I got them thinking they would be more hands-on than they are. To me they seem very workbooky, which didn't really suit ds and we ended up not using them.
There isn't anything wrong with them, but it was just a case of a perfectly nice product that just did not suit ds. I think will save them for dd when she gets older, in case that style suits her.

I was looking for something more hands-on. Is there a product out there like Literature Pockets with more activities and crafts? I was wanting to purchase the one for Aesop's Fables and the Fairytales and Folktales.

Have you looked to see if Hands of Child has anything on those topics? Or perhaps homeschool share?

No, I had not heard of Hands of Child and I did not think to look at homeschool share. Thanks for the tip.
