Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Oh me, oh my! I just checked a few places online.
I'm sure you want one that's under the $50 used price.

I have a few for sale at the Hillside website. It IS becoming rare! All the ones I have are library discards so they have library stamps and such on them. I am selling the best looking ones first and then letting people know the condition before sending out the others. I have about 6 or 7 left.

I have petitioned Pauline Media to reprint Hosanna to You, Jesus! but have not heard back from them yet. (Had to write to their offices in Italy.) Please pray for this because the one or two that are available used are $25.00 each. OUch - but it's a really great resource.

The story itself (without the great dePaola illustrations) is available in the More Catholic Tales for Boys and Girls -- it's the last story in the book.

Just a thought....

I found Petook at the library when I was doing Mosaic. You could request it.

The book Mary mentioned would at least get you the story but the Mosaic lesson pays close attention to dePaola's illustrations for the discussion exercise.

Oh, wow. I can't believe it's so rare now. We have an almost brand-new copy and for the life of me, I can't remember how/when I got it. I'm sorry to be of no help. It is special to me, though, as I love Caryll Houselander so much. Sorry---hope you find one.

I'm the same way. I bought this book on Elizabeth's recommendation on Easter and it was definitely over my son's head for a few years. But I'm relieved I have it now!

I saw this on the library shelf last week but if I grabbed it then I'd have to give it back before we really need it closer to Easter.

I'm just going to have faith that it will be there when I need it (or maybe a week or two before

If you don't mind having the British version (ie. color is spelled colour), you could go to amazon.co.uk
There is a 3rd party seller (The Book Depository) who has it new for 6.26 GBP and will ship it to the US via airmail for 6.94 GBP. The total will be about $26 US dollars. I just recieved my copy from them and am very happy with it! You don't even need to create a new amazon account. You can log on and pay with your amazon.com account.

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn but we'll be offering something on the website in time for Easter that will benefit all Catholic Mosaic bookholders.

Campusi.com has one for $19....not very cheap, but they are a great resource for used and out-of-print things in general.
