Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Martha,
There are lots of threads on the Montessori board. Why don't you run through these and then come back and ask away:

Hi everyone

I have been reading all the threads. I read a lot of the CGS books a few years ago, and my older kids did a preschool year at a local atrium. But life took over and it is only with starting homeschooling last year thatI have been thinking a lot about CGS again. There is no local atrium open to us - so I am trying to figure out what to do at home. I feel a little overwhelmed - I have woefully exceeded my budget for next year - and a lot of the materials are costly - time to make items is of even greater scarcity! I also have an almost 10 year old, 7 year olds and a 2 year old - is it too late for the older ones? Should I get Moira's 3-6 manual and just start there for everyone? We have set up a prayer corner and altar - and I am trying to stretch the budget to the mini mass kit. Any ideas about how to get started - what materials are absolutely necessary?

Thanks for the help

Marilyn

Marilyn,
It's not too late for the oldest one. Moira's Level 3 album should be ready any day if it isn't yet.
