Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anyone recommend some ideas for a Confirmation notebook? I am stumped! I am looking for some good books for my twins as they prepare for this special sacrament...anyone??

I'd love some help with this too. I'm also wondering...for an 8th grade confirmation...should the confirmation study process be a 2 yr or 1 yr process?

We are converts...this will be my first child to prepare for confirmation, and I am *nervous* about it!

I thought I saw some details on this somewhere, but I can't find them. Anyone?

I loved your reading list Elizabeth and I linked to it on my blog!

We started reading "A Philadelphia Catholic in King James's Court today." I had forgotten about that book until I saw it on your list. As I recall it is a real page turner near the end! Confirmation year is a good year to read it.

Thanks, Elizabeth! I so often forget to search the blogs .

I am passing them on to a friend who hopes to incorporate the ideas into the 8th grade religion class she teaches.

I'd love to bump up this thread. Ds12 is making his Confirmation in September this year. I would love ideas on how to go about preparing him. And I would like him to notebook some of what he learns. He doesn't particualy enjoy notebooking although he likes to look at at what he has created when he does.
