Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

is a new book by the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Description in Leaflet Missal catalog: "A treasury of meditations, quotes and prayers of the Saints, along with some stories about the Holy Eucharist and Saints who love It. References to over ninety saints. Packed with color and black and white photos. Softcover. 80 pp."
I just got this today and it is wonderful. Just reading through the first half I was bursting with this feeling of needing to share the news about this book. It's incredible. Great book for anyone who wants to learn more and LOVE more Jesus in the Eucharist. It also would be excellent copy work/memory work/reading for any child in second grade or up (or first grade if they are mature). It's also available from www.chapelgifts.com. If you plan on ordering from either place in the next year or so, get this book! You will like it.

Here are two examples:
When you hear Mass, do you come in the same frame of mind as the Blessed Virgin at Calvary? Because it is the same God and the same Sacrifice (St. John Marie Vianney)

But come to the altar and you will see Him, you will touch Him, you will give to Him holy kisses, you will wash HIm with your tears, you will carry Him within you like Mary most holy. (St. John Chrysostom)
