Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Kimberly's crochet roses where mentioned in this post.

And can be seen here at her blog.

These are so wonderful! I made a set for Kim and Luke and they are enjoying saying the rosary much more now.

As the month of Our Lady approaches I plan on making a set for some of my nieces with young children. I thought maybe some others would like to do the same.

Thank you,Kimberlee, for sharing such a wonderful idea.

Thanks Joann for posting this link! I wish I knew how to crochet!

I have purchased 2 rosaries from Kimberlee and both of them have been absolutely beautiful.

I made a set for my Gabriel's (4) Easter Basket. He loves them too!! And they weren't hard to make either. He sleeps with the mystery cards. Thanks from me too Kimberlee!!

Oh ladies....how I wish I knew how to crochet! I think this is such a beautiful offering!

I'm going to learn how to crochet and I have been committed to it ever since I saw Kimberlee's post on her roses!

Oh, this is beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes. I cannot crochet but I have patterns for flowers from my grandmother and maybe one of my girls could.

I don't think it is just for young children. I think it would help my very kinesthetic older children stay more focused. I know the visual and beauty would help me meditate. The rosary is probably the most difficult thing for us to do as a family. Now if only I can implement the ideas that your post stimulated. I'm sure my 6 yo boy would also find this helpful - and my nieces and such!

Thank you so much.

Janet

That is definately a most inspirational craft and one that can be used longterm for such good effect. I have it on my wish list...I just need an aunt to tee up to teach up how to crochet!

I think for those who don't know how to crochet and no opportunity to learn, I'd be brainstorming over another way to craft that, it is too good a craft for the rosary!
