Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi! I am wondering if anyone knows of a book about St. Charles Borromeo. My son is 7, but I would be willing to check out something geared for slightly older kids. Seems everyting I can find about him for kids is just a page or two in lives of the Saints book. Thanks for any help!

Hi Kristi,
I was looking for one by Mary Fabyan Windeatt, but couldn't find one. We love her books. How about a DVD? I found this DVD on him by Bob and Penny Lord.
Hope you guys are doing well!!

Yes, there is a book titled: A Prince on a Galloping Horse A Story of St. Charles Borromeo by Brother Roberto, C.S.C. The copyright is 1961. I have no idea if it is or is not in print (it was one of those I picked up at the Friends of the Library Booksale which our local parish's Catholic school just ditched). It would be great for a 7 yo with nice large print (at least the version I have) and reminds me of the Vision series books.
