Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm going to switch Catherine to more of the CHC plans for seventh for the coming school year. I haven't seen the Faith & Life 7 yet, and I'm wondering how much of it is Confirmation prep? In the Diocese of Portland, Maine, the kids are confirmed along with First Communion. While I don't mind a brief review of the Sacrament of Confirmation, I don't want to spend a whole year dwelling on it.

Thanks!

It doesn't spend a bunch of time on Confirmation.
General scope and sequence

The first two sections cover basics (God's Plan of Salvation, ... Priesthood of Jesus, ... The Church in Our Time).

The 3rd section has 18 chapters: Doctrine of Grace; Faith, Hope and Charity; The Cardinal Virtues; several chapters on the 7 sacraments; The Gifts of the Holy Spirit; Mary Mediatrix of Grace...

All of that would prepare one for Confirmation, but it's doesn't spend the whole book dwelling on Confirmation.

Does that help?
