Hi all,

I just got a really cool art book that I thought I'd share with you. It is called Teaching Art with Books Kids Love by Darcie Clark Frohardt. It uses great kids books like Mirette on the High Wire, Tar Beach, Where the Wild Things Are, Owl Moon, The Paperboy, etc to teach different art concepts. Certain artists are suggested for each concept. There are some simple sketching instructions scattered throughout and each concept has several project suggestions, most of which do not take any extra-ordinary materials.

I looks like a great book! I plan to use it this summer.
