Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have a good video recording to recommend? I'm planning to read the abridged version of Aida to the children from Operas Every Child Should Know and would like to find one to watch together. An audio recording would also be great to find. Any recommendations?

The age group would be 10-17. Thanks!

We enjoyed the production of Aida with Placido Domingo.

I rented a newer version from Netflix as well - I don't recall the version (i could look it up.) However, in the second scene the girls weren't wearing full costumes. They were missing their tops.
