Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have just bought some lovely Lyra pencils and some block crayons in preparation for next year.

And I've realised that I should have asked here before I bought them about how they react to heat!

I had also been planning to get some moulding beeswax... but I'll wait on that until I get some input:-)

So, I guess I'm addressing this to Californian folks? (we're in Western Australia, I believe the climate is similar). How do the crayons (and moulding beeswax) go in your climate? Do you need to do anything to keep them from melting? (I had all our pencils and crayons on tubs in a north facing window [equivilent to your south facing I believe] this winter and after one vagely warm day I had to remove them because the crayons were soft and the colour was leeching!) Obviously I won't be keeping them in the sunlight! But will I need to keep them in the fridge?
